- OVERVIEW
Concept
Institute of Molecular Embryology and Genetics, Kumamoto University, as well as RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology, Institute for Frontier Medical Sciences and Center for iPS Cell Research and Application, Kyoto University, and School of Medicine, Keio University, organize joint symposium every year, and it is our turn to host in Kumamoto. With the main scope "From Stem Cells to Organs", it additionally covers broader areas of developmental biology and medicine, as we believe deeper understanding of developmental biology is crucial for application toward regenerative medicine. We invite many forefront researchers from all over the world, especially young researchers from Japan, to build global next-generation network in developmental medicine. Young scientists' active engagement is most welcome.
